openDoctor has signed an agreement with GNYHA Services to offer its members digital self-scheduling tools for patients and physicians.
To meet the growing demand for an online real-time patient experience, openDoctor’s cloud-based platform is designed to allow patients, physicians and staff to book real-time appointments, complete registration and make payments online. openDoctor can offer a real-time solution through a sophisticated interface engine that fully integrates with the hospital’s existing EMR/RIS system. Even the most complex procedures and specialties can be properly and safely scheduled online with openDoctor’s algorithm based Q&As.
“Healthcare organizations today are being challenged to focus on digital innovation, giving patients more convenience, transparency and access to their care online, explains Joe Marino, Chief Revenue Officer at openDoctor. “By giving patients and referring providers the ability to self-schedule, GNYHA Services members could see up to a fifty percent reduction in no shows, an increase in patient acquisition, and an improvement in the revenue cycle by collecting co-pays and balances at the time of booking. The organizations we work with recognize the value of allowing their patients and members to self-serve, as a way to lower costs, but also to build value and loyalty, truly improving the patient experience.”
openDoctor is the first digital self-scheduling solution contracted with GNYHA Services. Members of GNYHA Services can access preferred pricing under this agreement.
